Fluke 807-0205 DS3/E3 Inline Probe ASE with LinkSafe Capabilities Simple Type: Probe

The Visual UpTime® Select™ DS3/E3* LinkSafe™ inline probe ASE complies with Class A standards for countries using DS3 access lines and supports digital transmission at the DS3 rate of 45 Mbps. This ASE supports IP Transport software for deployment in ATM based data networks that use IP switching over DS3 physical lines. The DS3/E3 ASE includes LinkSafe technology to protect circuit integrity in case of an ASE outage, as well as power failure notification. This ASE is designed for deployment at the network demarcation point between a subscriber’s CPE and the WAN. The figure below shows the ASE positioned between a Line Services Unit and a customer edge router on a DS3 line.
